Advanced Flying's Sokol 400
Like other aerospace innovators developing flying cars, Branko Sarh, currently a senior technical fellow at Boeing, was inspired by traffic jams -- particularly the ones in and around his southern California locale.
His startup, Advanced Flying Automobile Company, has spent nearly 20 years researching the technology behind telescopic flight components for its Sokol 400. Sarh is currently looking for funding so he can produce his first prototype. He hopes to be flying experimental vehicles within five years.
